Hi, I'm Green, your Bag Badge turtle

Peace of mind for little adventures β€” a tiny, useful charm that quietly helps your child when they need it most.

My job: identifies whose bag, lunchbox or coat this is
πŸŽ’

This bag belongs to…

Clipped onto a school bag, lunchbox, PE kit or coat β€” a tap reveals whose it is and how to get it back to them. For the everyday muddle of lost property, forgotten kit and mixed-up backpacks at the school gate.

For Parents

Setting up your green turtle

Takes about three minutes. You'll need a free app and your phone.

1
Download a free NFC writing app
On iPhone or Android, search the app store for NFC Tools by Wakdev β€” it's free, well-trusted, and what we use ourselves.
2
Choose what to write
Open NFC Tools and tap Write β†’ Add a record.
For green turtles, choose:
Text β€” type something like "This bag belongs to [child's first name]. If found, please contact [parent name] on [number]. Thank you!"
3
Tap your turtle to write
Tap Write in the app, then hold the turtle flat against the back of your phone for a few seconds. You'll hear a beep when it's done. Remove your phone case if the read is slow β€” these chips are small (8mm).
4
Test it, then lock it
Tap your turtle again to check it does what you wanted. Once you're sure it's right, you can use NFC Tools' Other β†’ Lock tag feature to make it permanent β€” nobody can accidentally overwrite it. This step is one-way, so only lock when you're certain.
⚠️
An honest note: NFC tags only work when a phone touches them β€” they don't track location, send alerts on their own, or work over distance. Think of them as a tiny, friendly emergency card sewn into a keychain.

A reward app, made for these turtles.

We're building a small, calm reward app where children tap their turtle to log everyday wins β€” tidying up, brushing teeth, helping out β€” and earn stars, streaks and small treats agreed with their grown-up. Be the first to try it.
